Hello everyone!!!

This week has gone by soooo fast! Ok literally my weeks are passing by in the blink of an eye.. before I know it I will open my eyes and be back home... ok but thankfully that`s still another 5 months away! Stories for this week:

Monday.. we had a normal day of proselyting because we went to the temple on Wednesday. It wasn`t our most successful day, but we were trying our best to get some good lessons in. We visited Carmen who is the mom of a missionary who just left.. she`s not a member but goes to church almost every week.. the only problem is that, she`s not married.. Later we visited Delia who is really great. She had wanted to be baptized in the past but never could because she also wasn`t married, and her husband didn`t want to get married, but now they are separated so we are working on preparing her to be baptized!

Tuesday we had our district meeting like always and it was pretty normal we learned about how to better teach our investigators the commandments. After we were able to have 6 lessons! We taught Arlleth, our investigator that is going to be baptized this Saturday! She is super cute.. we are praying she can be a good example for her family.

Wednesday.. We went to the temple!! YAY! It was so wonderful to be there in the place I love most. And I got to see one of the people I love most... we ran into Hermana Callejas and her companion. I also ran into a member for Libertad, Marvin, who always came with us to lessons. Later we went to KFC and did a little bargaining in the market. To finish our day we had a lesson with Benjamin.. he is progessing, but his family isn`t helping much.. their pastor came and got mad at them for coming to church so they haven`t wanted to receive us much lately.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday: We had a lot of lessons.. good and not so good.. the elders are now going to be teaching Fidel because he isn`t living in his daughter`s house now.. we were really really sad about it because we have seen him progress so much! Other great things..

That`s all I have time for this week folks.. sorry for being so short!! Love you all!

Happy 4th of July 3 days late!! And happy birthday Justin!!! This week has been crazy.. and as you can see by the new title I got transferred!!! I´m now here in the Bayovar ward in Manolias stake.. in San Juan de Lurigancho!! I finally came to the other side of the mountain!! Haha! My new companion is Hermana Zarate from Huancayo Peru! She is wonderful and we have been working hard here this week! I was called on Tuesday in transfers to be a sister training leader... we are in charge (I guess that would be the right word) of 5 companioships of sisters. We do work visits and help them to reach their potential as missionaries.. I feel very humbled and grateful for this opportunity to serve and hope that by doing so I can become more Christlike.. I feel like I have some big shoes to fill, but I know my Heavenly Father has something he wants me to learn and will help me along the way!
Monday I said goodbye to Sol del Pinar.. it was really sad to have to say goodbye to Karina.. we both cried and hugged for a while... And then on Tuesday it was transfer day! We got my bags all packed and headed to the offices... There I waited very impatiently to know where I would be headed.. President said ¨And the sister training leaders in Bayovar 2 will be Hermana Imbler with Hermana Zárate!¨ I was so so sooo surprised.. but also excited.. We headed to the other side of the mountain.. in San Juan de Lurigancho (if you look it up I`m sure you will find many pictures.. and also the prison. haha). We headed out to start working and had some really great lessons.

On Wednesday we had a council meeting with President Erickson, his wife, the assistents, the zone leaders, and the other sister training leaders. It was super interesting to be a part of and we talk about the mission and how we can further the work here in Lima North. On our way we got on a bus that took a bad road.. we got stuck in traffic and about 10 police officers showed up... the guy who collects the money was yelled at by the driver and told to hide.. super scary.. so my companion and I got off and started to look for a taxi. After about 10 minutes without success I saw the same bus and so we ran to get on.. We ended up being late to the meeting.. how embarassing, but it was a funny story to tell. Later we had more lessons (sorry I`m not very detailed in the lessons.. I forgot my agenda that had everything written...oops!)

Thursday we headed to San Isidro to go to the clinic.. because Hna Zárate has been sick.. Hermana Erickson came with us because the mission home is really close in Lima Central.. We had lunch with her and then we were able to head back to Bayovar. We had a lot of lessons and the funniest part is that we went to the birthday party of a convert just to say hi and ended up turning off the music and sharing a scripture with everyone that was there.. super awkward, but something we will never forget!

Friday we had our interviews with the president and then were able to go out to work. Normal day... Saturday we had our district meeting and got to now the zone a little more. Later we were walking and saw a little boy fall and start crying.. we helped him to his house and we realized he was the son of some new investigators we had found on Tuesday. We taught them again. Sunday was the best day.. their whole family came to church and we had 14 investigators there... WOW! That`s all for now!! Take care everyone!

That was the only title line that I could come up with.. maybe next week I will be a little bit more creative... Sorry that I am just lacking time like always.. but this week was really interesting..

On Monday we went to the institute building and were able to play air hockey and ping pong.. don´t worry I haven´t lost the skills and was able to beat the elders (Haha I only say that so Dad will be proud and excited to play with me when I get back.. Because I´m missing my ping pong buddy a little bit;) ) Then that night we were able to have 5 lessons which was super awesome.

Tuesday we had some good lessons with investigators, but nothing super special.. we had our missionary coordination meeting, and before we had a little chat with President and Hermana Erickson. Wednesday was a cool day.. in the morning we went to visit some sisters in our area and help them out a little bit and then we headed to do service really high up in a hill (that´s what the pictures are from). When we were carrying wood we found two poisonous lizards.. one of the elders hit them in the head and killed them.. (a little bit cruel if you ask me). But we took pictures with them.. The rock picture is also in the hill.. it was the most green I have seen in a while. Then during the rest of the day I headed off to do a work visit with another sister in our zone. I was able to work with her, see how she is doing, and try my best to help the zone.

Sorry I am out of time... but I hope next week I will be able to coordinate my time better to be able to take the time I need to write! Take care everyone!! Love you tons!!

Welcome to the life of Hermana Imbler.. today I got on a computer that didn´t work... again... and had to wait about 50 minutes just to start writing.. and now we will be finishing in 10 minutes.. Oh well computer time isn´t everything.. Today are transfers and I am trying my hardest to wait patiently to know if I will be staying here or if I´ll be heading to a new area because Hna Inca and I have now been together for two transfers and a half but... whatever the Lord has prepared for me I´m ready!! So just a quick recap...
Jhony and Karina got baptized yesterday!!!! In the morning before church we had a small baptismal service and everything went smoothly. Then they were confirmed in sacrament meeting and welcomed into the ward! We were literally so excited, Hna Inca and I hugged for a long time, our first family!! (I´ve attached two pictures.. one of the baptism and one of the wedding.. more to come.. when I have more than only 15 minutes). Teaching and preparing them this last week was a little harder, but really everything paid off! I know they are going to be such a great family in the church.. now we only have to keep strengthening them!

This week we weren´t able to get in contact with Juan.. He was sick last week and headed to Lima for a couple days.. but it looks like he has yet to return.. we are pretty sad because we love him a lot and he was progressing really well.. we´ll keep praying to find him. We found a new investigator Oswaldo who is also an older man (we are teaching three the same age of around 65 years old..) He didn´t want to go to church on Sunday because he is afraid if he leaves someone might rob him because his house isn´t secure.. we´ll be working with him on that one.

On Thursday I had a work visit from one of the sister training leaders and we had a really great time.. I learned a lot from her (even though she has less time in the mission) I realized that we can learn so much from being with other missionaries. We were able to have a really cool lesson in the street about faith. Something that she told the investigators really hit me.. So I thought I would share... A seed when it starts to grow starts growing up or down first? Down.. first it needs roots.. and then with time we will see the fruits it brings.. The same is with our faith.. we need to cultivate it.. at first we might not see the results, but with time we will see the grand fruits that come from our faith.

That´s all folks! Hope you are all doing well and know that I pray for you every day!! Thanks for all the support you give me!!
