Hola familia y amigos!!
Que
tal? Como están? I think if I wrote anything else in spanish a few of
you would be lost, so I think I´ll just finish this email in english.
First off, so sorry that I didn´t send out an email last week, I
was a little short on time and got distracted, so my apologies!
Second...I´m no longer in Comas/La Pascana... Super sad.. we had a sort
of emergency transfer three days before actual transfers, which are
today, and I left for Carabayllo in the ward Libertad last Saturday. I´m
currently living with 3 other sisters (two gringas and my companion
from Honduras). It definitely isn´t easy with 4 girls in one apartment.
We also have cochroaches in our apartment..YUM... haha but no big deal
I´ll live. Anyway Friday I got a call from our zone leaders who told me I
needed to pack my suitcases and that I was leaving the next morning for
Carabayllo. I didn´t get to say goodbye to any of the members or my
recent converts and I was definitely feeling really sad, but I know that
I have a lot of work to do here in Libertad.
I´ll try to catch you up on the last week.. Lisbeth and Jenniffer got baptized the Saturday
before last!! It was such a wonderful day! At first they were nervous
but then after the baptism both were beaming. They bore their
testimonies of the gospel and it was just such a wonderful experience to
see. I know that both of them are going to help so many of their
friends and family members come to the knowledge of the true gospel.
The rest of the week was more or less normal and we had lessons, but I can´t update much because I´m now in a different area.
Next week I promise I will write more about my new area! Hope all is well!
By the way.. a little secret... I´ve been out for 4 months now!
