Hola!!

Yet another week gone by, and seriously it´s almost November... I can´t even believe that this is real life. First off before I say anything else... HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I don´t have much time to write today, because we changed our pday this week to Wednesday so we can go to the temple. I am super stoked, it has been way way too long! Also I am sending photos

So this week we have started working with more less active members in order to find part-member families and I think all is going pretty well in that sense! I really am enjoying my new ward and the members are awesome. We are working right now to get our investigators married. We have one investigator, Maria who is super cute.. she was all ready to go to church on Sunday when we picked her up, the only problem is that she isn´t married... bummer, that seems to be happening a lot. We still need to find her husband and talk to him which has been a struggle, but we´re praying we will find him this week.

We also have an investigator Carmen who really wants to be baptized, but her husband doesn´t want to get married.. ugh such a frustration here, but we will do our best! Over all I´m still trying to get used to the new area and get to know everyone, but I am loving the mission and praying for all of you every day.

My mom should be sending an email with my new address to send me letters, because I love getting them *hint* *hint* haha.

Have a great week everyone!!

to Kathleen, me
Hola familia y amigos!!

Que tal? Como están? I think if I wrote anything else in spanish a few of you would be lost, so I think I´ll just finish this email in english.

First off, so sorry that I didn´t send out an email last week, I was a little short on time and got distracted, so my apologies! Second...I´m no longer in Comas/La Pascana... Super sad.. we had a sort of emergency transfer three days before actual transfers, which are today, and I left for Carabayllo in the ward Libertad last Saturday. I´m currently living with 3 other sisters (two gringas and my companion from Honduras). It definitely isn´t easy with 4 girls in one apartment. We also have cochroaches in our apartment..YUM... haha but no big deal I´ll live. Anyway Friday I got a call from our zone leaders who told me I needed to pack my suitcases and that I was leaving the next morning for Carabayllo. I didn´t get to say goodbye to any of the members or my recent converts and I was definitely feeling really sad, but I know that I have a lot of work to do here in Libertad.

I´ll try to catch you up on the last week.. Lisbeth and Jenniffer got baptized the Saturday before last!! It was such a wonderful day! At first they were nervous but then after the baptism both were beaming. They bore their testimonies of the gospel and it was just such a wonderful experience to see. I know that both of them are going to help so many of their friends and family members come to the knowledge of the true gospel.

The rest of the week was more or less normal and we had lessons, but I can´t update much because I´m now in a different area.

Next week I promise I will write more about my new area! Hope all is well!
By the way.. a little secret... I´ve been out for 4 months now!

to me, Michael, Michael
I can´t believe it, but I only have two more weeks left until transfers again! Wow the time just flies by! I am honestly praying with all my heart that I stay in Comas... Haha and so with that I will probably be transferred.. Also a quick apology because I´m not sure how good my spelling is in english..
How was General Conference??? I loved it, but there was one problem.. I had to watch it in Spanish!! But that´s ok because I still got a ton out of it! Most of the talks are translated by Spanish speakers so I couldn´t hear their voices, but something awesome is that Elder Scott always translates his own talk, so I did get to listen to his voice! So I´m not sure about you, but I don´t really want my shoes to fall apart while I´m on my mission... but how cool was that story? Something else cool... Mr. Abbott (my choir teacher from middle school) is in the Tab Choir!! That was definitely a surprise to see his face!

Other wonderful things that I want to share with you from conference.. Trust in the Lord, He is the shepherd, He knows all His sheep, and they know His voice.. And from this we know that everyone will be able to recognize the gospel when they hear it. I also want to extend the same challenge as Elder Russell M. Ballard... Find ONE person by Christmas that you can share the gospel with. Being a missionary I know that it may seem difficult to find people to share the gospel with, but there are literally people on every corner who don´t yet know the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are family members, friends, people you work with that aren´t members and I know that they exist. Give them the chance to know the gospel, be an example and share what you know and I know is true!

This week we are going to have 2 baptisms!! Hermana´s Liz and Jeny! They are such wonderful young women who are always so excited to learn more about the gospel. I know they are going to bring many more to the church and I am so excited to see them make covenants with our Heavenly Father!

Sorry I´m out of time as usual.. don´t know how it passes so quickly! Love you all and keep sending those emails every week!!
